General Description

Natural Bridges Scenic Drive is the main road through the Monument. It makes a nine-mile loop through the park, providing access to overlooks, trails and a picnic area. Both natural and man made features can be seen from various pull outs along the scenic drive. This is an easy drive accessible by both passenger and recreational vehicles.

Directions from Visitor Center: Drive westward past the campground and begin the one-way loop through the monument.

Seasonal Information:
Normally Open: Year-round (NOTE: Roadway may become slippery when moisture freezes on it.) .

Kachina Bridge Trail - This trail leads .75 miles into White Canyon to the base of Kachina Bridge. Evidence of Ancient Puebloans is visible in the canyon where further exploration is encouraged.

Natural Bridges Campground - The campground is a fee-required facility that consists of 13 sites available year round on a first come, first served basis.

Owachomo Bridge Trail - This trail lies nearly seven miles from the Visitor Center. It leads .2 miles southeastward from the scenic drive to the base of Owachomo Bridge.

Sipapu Bridge Trail - This trail leads .6 miles, descending 500 feet, into White Canyon from the parking area on the scenic drive to a viewpoint of Sipapu Bridge.
