General Description

Wekiwa Springs State Park offers several overnight choices. A 60-site campground, each with electric hookup, is available year-round. Many of the sites are large enough to accommodate RVs. Two of the sites are handicapped accessible. Two modern restroom facilities, 12 showers, and a trailer dump station are centrally located.

The park also offers two primitive sites located along the 13.5 mile loop trail. These sites must be reserved at the park office.

Large primitive group cabins accommodate up to 150 people and offer meeting and dining space.

The horse camp provides room for five horses. Horse trailers may be parked at the stables. Water is provided for the horses. Negative Coggins certificate is required. The camp is located along the 8-mile horse trail. Horses are permitted on other parks trails too.

Directions from Orlando, FL: Horse Camp: Travel Interstate 4 north to the Longwood exit / 49. Turn left from the exit ramp and travel a short distance turning right onto Wekiva Springs Road. Travel 4 miles to the park entrance. Once inside the park, turn left and travel the end of the main park road making a left into the horse parking lot. The camp is located a short distance down the trail from the lot.

Directions from Orlando, FL: Main Campground: Travel Interstate 4 north to the Longwood exit / 49. Turn left from the exit ramp and travel a short distance turning right onto Wekiva Springs Road. Travel 4 miles to the park entrance. Once inside the park, turn left and travel to the first road on the left to reach the main campground loops.

Directions from Orlando, FL: Group Area: Travel Interstate 4 north to the Longwood exit / 49. Turn left from the exit ramp and travel a short distance turning right onto Wekiva Springs Road. Travel 4 miles to the park entrance. Once inside the park, turn left and travel to the second road on the left to reach the group camping area.

Directions from Orlando, FL: Primitive Campsites: Travel Interstate 4 north to the Longwood exit / 49. Turn left from the exit ramp and travel a short distance turning right onto Wekiva Springs Road. Travel 4 miles to the park entrance. Once inside the park, turn left and travel to the end of the main park road. Head east from the parking lot. One site is located about 1/3 distance along the trail and the other site is about 2/3 distance on the 13.5-mile trail.
