The trail is very steep and rocky in spots. Watch for mountain bikers coming downhill. The trail provides great views of Glenwood Springs and the Colorado River running through Glenwood Canyon. Make it to the top of the mountain and the communications towers by hooking up with the Forest Hollow Trail.
Directions from Downtown Glenwood Springs: Take 8th street off of Main street east to its end. Park on the streets. No parking in the immediate traihead area.
