Report: Sequoyah is my favorite RV campground area in Oklahoma. Its about 8 miles west of Wagoner across the lake bridge. The park has 3 camp areas and the area known as Seminole has recently been renovated to a first class facility. It has large paved pads and can handle the big rigs. Sites are available with 30 and/or 50 amp. All sites are in view of Ft. Gibson Lake. The area is more family oriented and you feel safe to let your kids ride their bikes around the loop in the campground. Wagoner has all the eating choices a camping family needs along with a variety of other stores including a Wal-mart. We were here in the month of May and the temps. were just right for sitting around camp or riding bikes along the miles of smoothly paved park roads. Ft. Gibson Lake is a huge blue water lake with great fishing, boating, and swimming. Reservations are accepted and advised. Can't wait to come back!
