Mancos-Dolores Ranger District Recreation Description.
Located close to Mesa Verde National Park, visitors can also drive to Telluride over Lizard Head Pass. Excellent fishing and boating can be found on the Dolores River. Kayakers will also find great runs on the Dolores. This ranger district includes a vast and beautiful area with excellent outdoor recreation opportunities.
