The Blanco Ranger District outside of Meeker, Colorado is known for beauty and a diverse array of recreation opportunities. Big game hunting and fishing are excellent and the biggest attractions to the area. Hiking, backpacking, horseback riding, mountain biking and camping may be enjoyed during the summer months by visitors. Cross-country skiing, snowmobiling and snowshoeing in this area offers the solitude and quiet that make these activities so rewarding.
