This district of the White River National Forest is amazingly beautiful and wonderment in natures majesty is always part of any adventure within it. Activities during the winter months include snowmobiling, cross-country skiing, downhill skiing, snowboarding, snowshoeing and backcountry skiing. During the summer months the heights of the backcountry open for hiking, backpacking, fishing, camping, scenic driving and four-wheel driving.
