The Twin Lakes Recreation Area encompasses several campgrounds and picnic grounds, fishing sites, boat ramps and trailheads. In addition the surrounding mountains provide opportunities for hiking, biking, backpacking, horseback riding and four-wheel driving. The Twin Lakes area is highly developed by the Forest Service. The terrain in the area challenges beginners as well as experts in many activities.
