I visited the first week of October 1997. Worth the 30+ miles of washboard dirt roads. Bear boxes at each site but, didn't sight a bear. Need to take enough supplies. A long way off the beaten path. A great bubbling creek running through the campground.

Coronado National Forest - The Coronado National Forest spreads over twelve mountain ranges in Southern Arizona and extreme southwestern New Mexico. It includes the mountains surrounding Tucson, Nogales, Sierra Vista, Safford and Douglas.
