My husband and I have camped here for over 3 years now. From our home it is close by, and convenient for a spontaneous trip. Each site is large, clean and many of them are very isolated. In the hot months you have tons of shade from all the trees. Do not let the afternoon weather fool you, it gets quite chilly once the sun sets. There is also a small creek, which is quite peaceful to listen to in the early a.m. Make sure you put your food away at night, we did have a bear wandering around on our last trip. It is a great place if you appreciate a serene atmosphere, yet do not like to completely 'ruff-it' all the way. The only issue I have is the toilets. They need to be cleaned and checked more often. Ladies, make sure you lift the seat and allow all the flies to escape, before sitting down!! And, bring some T.P, because they constantly run out.
