Used to be a VERY nice camp...now, too many people if you're trying to 'get away from it all'. We tent camp, and it's not suggested, (especially in the multi-family campsites) if you don't like generators or people cutting thru your site all the time. Also, in 2002, fees are $14 for single sites and $28 for double sites, with a $5 fee for each extra vehicle. A plus for this campground is the fishing....just throw your line in and you should catch something!!! There are a couple of nice drives out of camp...one to 'trail's end' right out of the campground, and another to Mammoth Pool. Good place for beginners and kids!!!
