Tough ride up...look out for speeding logging trucks and crazy SUV drivers!!! On the ride up, go slow and stay as far to the right as possible! It's only 11 miles from North Fork but 3000 feet up, so it seems like it takes forever. The campground is a nice, quiet place, with a beautiful waterfall just beyond the entrance and lots of nice people. However, if you want to party, etc then stay away...this is a great place for families who like to tent camp!!! The only bad part of the campground is the vault toilets (always stinky!) and when people with big RVs come in with their generators, stereos, etc.....IF YOU'RE ONE OF THESE, THEN STAY AWAY!!!!!
