McDonough Reservoir is located west of Cochetopa Canyon and the old Ute Agency Center. This man-made reservoir has rainbow, brook and brown trout up to 12 inches long.
Needle Creek Reservoir was developed in 1962 as an irrigation holding area. It has good fishing with rainbows and brook trout averaging ten to eleven inches.
