Archuleta Creek Trail Saguache Ranger District,
Rio Grande National Forest
Once you reach Cochetopa Pass (3.2 miles) the historical markers along the Continental Divide give a sense of history to the trail. About 8.0 miles into the trail you will ride/hike through meadows filled with beautiful wildflowers.
Big Springs Picnic Ground Saguache Ranger District,
Rio Grande National Forest
Big Springs is a large spring which comes out of the rocks in this shady area. There are 7 sites with tables and 1 group site with tables, but no water.
Luders Creek Campground Saguache Ranger District,
Rio Grande National Forest
The road leading to the campground is itself of historical significance. It was one of the famous toll roads leading west from Saguache built by Otto Mears.
