Ruedi Reservoir Ruedi Reservoir Recreation facilities around the lake consist of four campgrounds accommodating 81 campsites and two boat-launching ramps. The lake covers about 997 acres and is approximately 5 miles long.

Numerous snow drifts can be expected on the trail throughout the month of June. Even though the trail starts out as being rather steep, it soon becomes one of our more moderate hikes in the area.

The trail is very well maintained and in good condition. It is very heavily used on weekends, so plan your trip accordingly. The hike is a beautiful one with many wild flowers and scenic overlooks.
