Garden Point Campground	Downieville Ranger District, Tahoe National Forest	Garden Point Campground is located 1 mile northwest of Dark Day Boat Ramp on the north side of the Reservoir at an elevation of 1,965 feet. This campground can only be accessed by boat. There are 16 sites and toilets.

Giant Gap Campground	Tahoe National Forest	Giant Gap Campground is located on the north shore of Sugar Pine Reservoir; fishing and swimming available. Several campsites have lake views.

Goose Meadows Campground	Tahoe National Forest	Goose Meadows Campground is located 4 miles south of Truckee at an elevation of 5,800 feet. This campground provides access to fish, boating, swimming, and picnicking.

Granite Flat Campground	Tahoe National Forest	Granite Flat Campground is located approximately 1.5 miles south of Truckee offering several water sport opportunities along with picnicking.

Grouse Ridge Campground	Nevada City Ranger District, Tahoe National Forest	Grouse Ridge Campground is located approximately 24 miles east of Nevada City at an elevation of 5,600 feet. This campground has 9 walk-in campsites. Hiking, fishing and swimming are available from this campground.

Hampshire Rocks Campground	Tahoe National Forest	Hampshire Rocks Campground is located approximately 28 miles east of Nevada City at an elevation of 5,800 feet. Fishing available.

Indian Springs Campground	Nevada City Ranger District, Tahoe National Forest	Indian Springs Campground is located approximately 24 miles east of Nevada City at an elevation of 5,600 feet. This campground has 35 campsites. Fishing and OHV riding are available from this campground.

Indian Valley Campground	Downieville Ranger District, Tahoe National Forest	Indian Valley Campground is located 10 miles northeast of Camptonville at an elevation of 2,200 feet. This campground is on the North Yuba River and has 17 campsites, 8 of which have space for trailers.

Jackson Creek Campground	Nevada City Ranger District, Tahoe National Forest	Jackson Creek Campground is located approximately 28 miles northeast of Nevada City at an elevation of 5,600 feet. This campground has 14 campsites with toilets. Fishing, swimming and boating are available from this campground.

Jackson Point Campground	Sierraville Ranger District, Tahoe National Forest	Jackson Point Campground is located on the shore of Jackson Meadow Reservoir at an elevation of 6,100 feet. This campground is accessible by boat only and there is a boat launch in Pass Creek Campground.

Lake Francis Resort	Gold Country Region	Shaded sites, firerings, cabins and group camping. Old West Town, saloon, restaurant, large hall with fireplace. Store, playground, horseshoes, softball, volleyball and croquet.

Lakeside Campground	Truckee Ranger District, Tahoe National Forest	Lakeside Campground is located on the northwest shore of Prosser Reservoir at an elevation of 5,700 feet. This campground has 30 undesignated campsites with space for trailers and a boat launch.

Lewis Campground	Foresthill Ranger District, Tahoe National Forest	Lewis Campground is located on the north shore of French Meadows Reservoir at an elevation of 5,300 feet. This campground has 40 sites. Activities include fishing, swimming, boating, picnicking, hiking and viewing scenery.

Lindsey Lake Campground	Nevada City Ranger District, Tahoe National Forest	Lindsey Lake Campground is located approximately 24 miles east of Nevada City at an elevation of 5,565 feet. This campground has 7 unimproved sites with toilets. Fishing is available from this campground.

Little Truckee Summit OHV Trailhead	Sierraville Ranger District, Tahoe National Forest	The Little Truckee Summit Off-Highway Vehicle Trailhead is located 17 miles north of Truckee at an elevation of 6,300 feet. These routes total approximately 90 miles and may require advanced skills on the trails.

Loch Leven Lakes Trail	Nevada City Ranger District, Tahoe National Forest	Lock Leven Lakes Trail is a more difficult 5 mile trail at an elevation of 5,680 feet. The Loch Leven Lakes Trail lead to a series of five alpine lakes, the highest at 6,900 feet.

Loganville Campground	Downieville Ranger District, Tahoe National Forest	Loganville Campground is located 2 miles west of Sierra City at an elevation of 4,200 feet. The main attractions are the Kentucky Mine and the Sierra County Historic Park.

Logger Campground	Tahoe National Forest	Logger Campground is located on the south shore of Stampede Reservoir offering 252 single sites.

Lower Little Truckee Campground	Tahoe National Forest	Lower Little Truckee Campground is located 12 miles south of Sierraville at an elevation of 6,000 feet.

Madrone Cove Campground	Downieville Ranger District, Tahoe National Forest	Madrone Cove Campground is located 5 miles northwest of the Dark Day Boat Ramp on the west shore of the Reservoir at an elevation of 2,000 feet. This campground has 10 single sites and is accessible only by boat.

Malakoff Diggins State Historic Park	Malakoff Diggins State Historic Park	Malakoff Diggins State Historic Park is the site of California's largest "hydraulic" mine. Visitors can see huge cliffs carved by mighty streams of water.

Marble Quarry RV Park	Gold Country Region	Wooded sites, walk to Columbia St Park/Quarry. Lounge, play yard, horseshoes, volleyball, shuffleboard, AAA approved.

Merced River Recreation Area	Folsom BLM Field Office, California BLM Areas	Beginning in the high country of Yosemite National Park, the Merced River makes a headlong rush through glacially-carved canyons, rugged mountains and foothills to the San Joaquin Valley.

Morning Star Lake Campground	Foresthill Ranger District, Tahoe National Forest	Morning Star Lake Campground is located on Big Reservoir at an elevation of 4,000 feet. Morning Star Lake Campground has 100 sites with picnic tables, grills and fire rings.

New Hogan Camping	New Hogan Lake	A variety recreations await at New Hogan Lake. From boat-in camping to horseback riding to great fishing, there's something for every outdoor lover.

North Fork Campground	Nevada City Ranger District, Tahoe National Forest	North Fork Campground is located approximately 5 miles south of Emigrant Gap at an elevation of 4,400 feet. This campground has 17 campsites. Fishing is available from this site.

Packsaddle Campground	Downieville Ranger District, Tahoe National Forest	Packsaddle Campground is located approximately 3.5 miles northwest of Bassets at an elevation of 6,000. This campground has 8 sites. Hiking, fishing, horseback riding and wildlife viewing are available from this campground.

Parker Flat Recreation Area	Foresthill Ranger District, Tahoe National Forest	Parker Flat Recreation Area provides camping, parking for several OHV loops in the area. This recreations area is a staging area for Loops 1, 2 and 3.

Pass Creek Campground	Tahoe National Forest	Pass Creek Campground is located on the northeastern shore of Jackson Meadow Reservoir at an elevation of 6,100 feet.

Poppy Campground	Foresthill Ranger District, Tahoe National Forest	Poppy Campground is located on the northwest shore of French Meadows Reservoir at an elevation of 5,300 feet. This campground has 12 campsites. There are no toilets, no drinkable water and no trash removal.

Prosser Campground	Truckee Ranger District, Tahoe National Forest	Prosser Campground is located on the west shore peninsula of Prosser Reservoir at an elevation of 5,800 feet. This campground has 29 campsites. There is a boat ramp and fishing is available.

Ramshorn Campground	Downieville Ranger District, Tahoe National Forest	Ramshorn Campground is located 15 miles northeast of Camptonville at an elevation of 2,600 feet. This campground has 16 campsites, 7 of which have space for trailers. Supplies are available at Downieville.

Robinson Flat Dispersed Camping Area	Foresthill Ranger District, Tahoe National Forest	Robinson Flat Campground is located 27 miles northeast of Foresthill at an elevation of 6,800 feet. This campground has 5 campsites and vault toilets. There is no trash removal service and the only water source is a creek.

Rocky Rest Campground	Downieville Ranger District, Tahoe National Forest	Rocky Rest Campground is located 10 miles northeast of Camptonville at an elevation of 2,200 feet. This campground is on the North Yuba River and has 10 campsites. Rocky Rest Campground offers fishing, biking, wildlife viewing and gold panning.

Sagehen Campground	Truckee Ranger District, Tahoe National Forest	Sagehen Campground is located 13 miles northwest of Truckee at an elevation of 6,500 feet. This campground has 10 undeveloped sites. There is no potable water but there is a creek water source.

Salmon Creek Campground	Downieville Ranger District, Tahoe National Forest	Salmon Creek Campground is located 2 miles north of Bassets at an elevation of 5,800. This campground is near Salmon Creek and has 31 campsite. Hiking, fishing and wildlife viewing are available from this campground.

Sand Ridge Lake Trail	Truckee Ranger District, Tahoe National Forest	The Sand Ridge Lake Trail (14E11) is a moderately difficult 6 mile hike at an elevation of 7,200 feet. The lake offers nice campsites and an enjoyable place for a refreshing swim, but the fishing is not very promising.

Sardine Campground	Downieville Ranger District, Tahoe National Forest	Sardine Campground is located 1.5 miles northwest of Bassets at an elevation of 5,800 feet. Swimming is available at nearby Sand Pond and boats are available for rent at Sardine Lake Lodge.

Schoolhouse Campground	Downieville Ranger District, Tahoe National Forest	Schoolhouse Campground is located on the southern shore of the New Bullards Bar Reservoir Area at an elevation of 2,200 feet. This campground has 56 sites, potable water, toilets and trailer space on site. Fishing is available in the reservoir.

Secret House Campground	Foresthill Ranger District, Tahoe National Forest	Secret House Campground is locate 19 miles northeast of Foresthill at an elevation of 5,400. This campground has 2 campsites. There is no water and no trash removal services so pack out what you pack in.

Shirttail Creek Campground	Tahoe National Forest	Shirttail Creek Campground is located on the north shore of Sugar Pine Reservoir; fishing and swimming available.

Sierra Campground	Downieville Ranger District, Tahoe National Forest	Sierra Campground is located 7 miles northeast of Sierra City at an elevation of 5,600 feet. This campground is on the North Yuba River and has 16 sites. Fishing is available on the North Yuba River.

Silver Creek Campground	Tahoe National Forest	Silver Creek Campground is located 6 miles south of Truckee at an elevation of 5,800 feet. This campground has 19 sites for tents or small trailers and 7 sites for walk-ins.

Snag Lake Campground	Downieville Ranger District, Tahoe National Forest	Snag Lake Campground is at an elevation of 6,600 feet. This campground is adjacent to Snag Lake and has 16 campsites. There is a boat launch and fishing at Snag Lake and other nearby lakes.

South Yuba Campground	Folsom BLM Field Office, California BLM Areas	South Yuba Campground serves as a base for fishing the South Yuba and hiking the South Yuba Trail.

The main attractions for this campground is recreational mining, hiking, fishing, biking and gold panning.

Upper Little Truckee Campground	Tahoe National Forest	Upper Little Truckee Campground is located 11.5 miles south of Sierraville; bike trails available.

White Cloud Campground	Tahoe National Forest	White Cloud Campground is located approximately 9 miles east of Nevada City at an elevation of 4,200 feet.

Wild Plum Campground	Downieville Ranger District, Tahoe National Forest	Wild Plum Campground is locate 1 mile east of Sierra City and has 47 campsite. The main attractions of this campground are the Kentucky Mine, the Sierra County Historic Park and PCT Equestrian access.

Willow Creek RV CG and Llama Camp	Gold Country Region	Renovated park on yr round creek with gold panning. TeePee rentals, lodge rentals and sales. Mostly shaded and very peaceful. Llamas to rent for hiking from grounds or bring your own. 7 mi from N Fork Yuba River.

Woodcamp Campground	Tahoe National Forest	Woodcamp Campground consists of 20 units and is located on the southwest shore of Jackson Meadows Reservoir.

Woodchuck Campground	Nevada City Ranger District, Tahoe National Forest	Woodchuck Campground is located approximately 26 miles east of Nevada City at an elevation of 6,300 feet. This campground has 8 campsites, some with stoves and tables. Toilets are available on site.
