Walk Through Time Trail Florissant Fossil Beds National Monument A pamphlet guides visitors around this .5 mile loop, which introduces the geologic history of the area.
Washington Gulch Road #811 Taylor River Ranger District,
Grand Mesa, Uncompahgre and Gunnison National Forests
Washington Gulch Road follows Washington Gulch to the abandoned town site of Elkton. It may be combined with Slate River Road to make a loop back to Highway 135.
Willow Creek Trail Roxborough State Park,

Willow Creek Trail is a 1.2 mile tread that leads from the registration site to the visitor center.
Windy Point Overlook Cebolla Ranger District,

The Windy Point Overlook lies approximately one and a quarter miles west of Slumgullion Pass on Highway 149. This site provides an excellent view of the Slumbullion earth flow and the surrounding terrain.

Once a thriving silver and copper mining town, Winfield now claims it's fame as a Colorado ghost town. The schoolhouse, cemetery and church have been restored by volunteers.
