Wason -Wheeler Trail Divide Ranger District,

Excellent views of Creede and several historic mines provided along the first 2.0 miles of this trail. Breathtaking scenery is enjoyed while standing at Inspiration Point.
West Chama Trail Conejos Peak Ranger District,
Rio Grande National Forest
The West Chama Trail provides access to upper Chama Basin, an area of virgin spruce-fir forests surrounding steep and colorful volcanic cliffs. Waterfalls tumbling over the cliffs can be seen from almost any vantage point.
West Frisco Trail Divide Ranger District,
Rio Grande National Forest
West Frisco Trail goes all the way to Bennett Mountain, which is 13,203 in elevation. Spectacular views and a diversity of scenery abound on this trail.
West Lost Trail Creek Divide Ranger District,
Rio Grande National Forest
Beautiful views of Pole Mountain and vast panoramic views are possible once a hiker begins approaching the Continental Divide. This trail provides the shortest access to Cataract Lake from the Rio Grande River drainage.
West Pole Creek Trail Divide Ranger District,

Excellent views and an excellent assortment of wildflowers can be found in the West Pole Drainage. Few people hike in the West Pole Area. Hiking this trail is basically a cross-country type experience.
Wheeler Geologic Area Four-Wheel Drive Road Divide Ranger District,
Rio Grande National Forest
This scenic, remote primitive road is a popular route into the Wheeler Geologic Area. While the road is relatively level, it is rough, roundabout, and very slow, with much of the roadbed made up of embedded rocks.
