Avalanche Campground	Sopris Ranger District, White River National Forest	Avalanche Family Campground is located south of Carbondale on Avalanche Creek. This site provides easy access to the Maroon Bells - Snowmass Wilderness.

Bogan Flats Campground	Sopris Ranger District, White River National Forest	Bogan Flats Campground is 25 miles south of Carbondale. It is located adjacent to the Crystal River. It is one of the most scenic and therefore popular campgrounds on the Sopris District.

Chapman Campground	Sopris Ranger District, White River National Forest	Chapman Campground is located adjacent to the Fryingpan River. If you are an angler, the lower Fryingpan is classified as a gold medal water by the Colorado Division of Wildlife.

Dearhammer Campground	Sopris Ranger District, White River National Forest	Dearhamer is 32 miles east of Carbondale. It is located on the Fryingpan River and east of Ruedi Reservoir.

Difficult Campground	Aspen Ranger District, White River National Forest	Difficult Campground is located five miles southeast of Aspen on Highway 82. It has 47 sites with limited spurs to accommodate trailers up to 40'.

Elk Wallow Campground	Sopris Ranger District, White River National Forest	Elk Wallow is located 40 miles east of Carbondale, adjacent to the North Fork of the Fryingpan River. This campground is most suited for guests looking for a quiet, relatively primitive setting.

Lincoln Creek Campground	Aspen Ranger District, White River National Forest	Lincoln Creek Campground is located off of Lincoln Creek Road, 11 miles southeast of Aspen on the right side of Highway 82.

Lincoln Gulch Campground	Aspen Ranger District, White River National Forest	Lincoln Gulch Family Campground is located 11 miles southeast of Aspen Colorado on highway 82 then 1/2 mile on Lincoln Creek Road. Visitors can enjoy hiking, biking, fishing and beautiful scenery from this campground.

Little Mattie Campground	Sopris Ranger District, White River National Forest	Little Mattie is 25 miles east of Carbondale. It is located on Ruedi Reservoir at an elevation of 7,800 ft.

Little Maud Campground	Sopris Ranger District, White River National Forest	Little Maude Family Campground is located on Ruedi Reservoir at an elevation of 7,800 ft. Many recreation opportunities are accessible including land and water sports.

Lost Man Campground	Aspen Ranger District, White River National Forest	Lostman Family Campground is situated directly across Independence Pass road from Lostman Trailhead. The campsites are within a lodgepole pine forest at an elevation of 10,500 feet

Mollie B Campground	Sopris Ranger District, White River National Forest	Mollie B Family Campground is located on Ruedi Reservoir at an elevation of 7,800 ft. There are various recreation opportunities accessible from this site including sports on land and water.

Portal Campground	Aspen Ranger District, White River National Forest	Portal Family Campground is located east of Aspen on Lincoln Creek Road. Campers can access some wonderful day hikes from this location as well as terrain for motorcycle riding, mountain biking, ATV riding and horseback riding.

Redstone Campground	Sopris Ranger District, White River National Forest	Redstone Campground is located 13 miles south of Carbondale, next to the Crystal River. It is our most modern facility, especially designed for use by large RV's.

Roaring Fork River	Roaring Fork River, Colorado Rivers & Streams	The Roaring Fork River is a freestone river that has many different faces as it travels throughout the Roaring Fork Valley. It originates on Independence Pass and culminates at the confluence with the Colorado River in Glenwood Springs.

Ruedi Reservoir	Ruedi Reservoir	Recreation facilities around the lake consist of four campgrounds accommodating 81 campsites and two boat-launching ramps. The lake covers about 997 acres and is approximately 5 miles long.

Silver Bar Campground	Aspen Ranger District, White River National Forest	The Silver Bar Campground is located five miles southwest of Aspen on Maroon Creek Road. RV's and trailers are not permitted at Silver Bar.

Silver Bell Campground	Aspen Ranger District, White River National Forest	The Silver Bell Campground is located five miles southwest of Aspen on Maroon Creek Road. Silver Bell provides access to a variety of recreation opportunities. RV's and trailers are not permitted at Silver Bell.

Silver Queen Campground	Aspen Ranger District, White River National Forest	The Silver Queen Campground is located five miles southwest of Aspen on Maroon Creek Road. Silver Bell provides access to a variety of recreation opportunities including hiking, horseback riding, bike touring and wildflower identification.

Weller Campground	Aspen Ranger District, White River National Forest	Weller Family Campground is situated in an aspen grove with ten accessible campsites. The campground is located on Independence Pass road east of the city of Aspen.

Willow Lake Trail	Aspen Ranger District, White River National Forest	Willow Lake Trail is a difficult, 6.5 mile (one way) trail. This trail starts at Maroon Lake in the Maroon Bells Scenic Area south west of Aspen.
