Discovery/Braille Trails are located 12.6 miles east of Aspen off of Hwy. 82. These trails are specifically prepared for the physically challenged and visually impaired.
Crystal Mill is considered by some to be one of the most photographed sites in Colorado. The mill is one of the remains of the mining economy that fueled settlement of the Rocky Mountain region of Colorado.
Hubbard Cave Road takes you to within 1/4 mile of Hubbard Cave. Hike the trail to the cave which has approximately 3,000 feet of passage with a vertical relief of only 50 feet.
The Trail follows an old jeep road that is now closed to mechanized
vehicles. The trail follows Anderson Creek passing through fir
forests then tundra.
