This is an easy, short (4.8 miles), dead-end jeep road which primarily provides fishing access to Regan Lake (91.5 acres).
Stony Pass Road 520 Divide Ranger District,
Rio Grande National Forest
This is a scenic and remote primitive road that is a popular route between the historic mining towns of Creede and Silverton. Numerous mining claims, mines, and associated structures are found along the route.
Swale Lake Four-Wheel Drive Road Divide Ranger District,
Rio Grande National Forest
This road switches back and forth through the old Park Creek burn which burned 600 acres in 1960. You can see how the new young forest has established itself.
Tewksberry Trail Divide Ranger District,
Rio Grande National Forest
Tewksberry Trail makes a gentle ascent over scenic Meadow Pass between Cattle Mountain and Demijohn Peak. This trail is not used excessively by hikers which gives the opportunity for solitude.
Trout Creek Trail Divide Ranger District,
Rio Grande National Forest
The Forest Service planned to relocate this trail around private property. The new trailhead will be near the South Fork community, so the tail will probably get much more use in the future.
Ute Pass Loop Four-Wheel Drive Road Saguache Ranger District,
Rio Grande National Forest
The valley views while climbing Ute Pass are beautiful. The portion of the road north of Ute Pass is narrow, winding, and boulder strewn and best suited for mountain bike, ATV and motorcycle use.
Valdez Trail Conejos Peak Ranger District,

This is a lightly used trail. Water is not available along this trail.
West Bear Trail Divide Ranger District,
Rio Grande National Forest
The upper portion of the trail shows evidence of the old sawmills used in the early 1900's. Please check with the Divide Ranger District for trail conditions prior to your trip.
West Frisco Trail Divide Ranger District,
Rio Grande National Forest
West Frisco Trail goes all the way to Bennett Mountain, which is 13,203 in elevation. Spectacular views and a diversity of scenery abound on this trail.
West Lost Trail Creek Divide Ranger District,
Rio Grande National Forest
Beautiful views of Pole Mountain and vast panoramic views are possible once a hiker begins approaching the Continental Divide. This trail provides the shortest access to Cataract Lake from the Rio Grande River drainage.
West Pole Creek Trail Divide Ranger District,
Rio Grande National Forest
Excellent views and an excellent assortment of wildflowers can be found in the West Pole Drainage. Few people hike in the West Pole Area. Hiking this trail is basically a cross-country type experience.
Wheeler Geologic Area Four-Wheel Drive Road Divide Ranger District,
Rio Grande National Forest
This scenic, remote primitive road is a popular route into the Wheeler Geologic Area. While the road is relatively level, it is rough, roundabout, and very slow, with much of the roadbed made up of embedded rocks.
