Black Bess Day Use Area	Sopris Ranger District, White River National Forest	Black Bess Family Picnic Ground is located at 7,800 ft. in elevation and provides access to water sports on Ruedi Reservoir and land sports in the surrounding terrain.

Braille Trail	Aspen Ranger District, Aspen Area	Discovery/Braille Trails are located 12.6 miles east of Aspen off of Hwy. 82. These trails are specifically prepared for the physically challenged and visually impaired.

Chapman Picnic Ground	Sopris Ranger District, White River National Forest	Chapman Campground is located adjacent to the Fryingpan River. If you are an angler, the lower Fryingpan is classified as a gold medal water by the Colorado Division of Wildlife.

Dearhamer Picnic Ground	Sopris Ranger District, White River National Forest	Dearhamer is 32 miles east of Carbondale. It is located on the Fryingpan River and east of Ruedi Reservoir at an elevation of 7,800 ft.

Deep Lake Picnic Ground	Eagle Ranger District, White River National Forest	The Deep Lake Picnic Area consists of 5 picnic sites located on the Flat Tops, beside Deep Lake, at an elevation of 10,580 feet.

Dewey Park Picnic Ground	Eagle Ranger District, White River National Forest	This picnic ground along Gypsum Creek is an easy drive from the town of Gypsum.

Difficult Campground	Aspen Ranger District, White River National Forest	Difficult Campground is located five miles southeast of Aspen on Highway 82. It has 47 sites with limited spurs to accommodate trailers up to 40'.

Freeman Mesa Day Use Area	Sopris Ranger District, White River National Forest	Freeman Mesa Day Use Area is located on the north shore of Ruedi Reservoir at an elevation of 7,800 ft. It provides access to water sports on the reservoir and land sports on the surrounding terrain.

Glenwood Canyon Trail	Eagle Ranger District, White River National Forest	This paved trail is a great way to enjoy spectacular Glenwood Canyon.

Grottos Day Use Area	Aspen Ranger District, White River National Forest	This is a popular area for picnicking and exploring. There is a waterfall, some interesting rock formations, an ice cave, and numerous short trails. This is a great area for families.

Little Mattie Picnic Ground	Sopris Ranger District, White River National Forest	Little Mattie is 25 miles east of Carbondale. It is located on Reudi Reservoir at an elevation of 7,800 ft.

Meadow Lake	Rifle Ranger District, White River National Forest	Meadow Lake is located 25 miles north of New Castle approximately a 1 1/2 hour drive on 2-wheel drive roads (in good weather). Meadow Lake offers camping, fishing, picnicking, wildlife viewing, 4-wheel driving and vistas.

Rocky Fork Day Use Area & Trailhead	Sopris Ranger District, White River National Forest	Rocky Fork Day Use Area is located near Ruedi Reservoir and provides users with access to water and land recreation opportunities.

Ruedi Boat Ramp & Picnic Ground	Sopris Ranger District, White River National Forest	The Ruedi Boat Ramp and Picnic Ground is located adjacent to Little Maud, Little Mattie and Mollie B Campgrounds, near the west end of Ruedi Reservoir.

Spruce Picnic Ground	Rifle Ranger District, White River National Forest	Spruce Picnic Area is located 16 miles north of Rifle and just north of Rifle Mountain Park. It includes four individual picnic sites and one group site.

Sylvan Lake	Eagle Ranger District, White River National Forest	Sylvan Lake, a 40 acre lake at 8,510 feet, offers non motorized boating opportunities, good fishing for brook and rainbow trout, and panoramic views of the surrounding alpine scenery.
