This 25 mile long trail begins just south of Buford. It intersects numerous other trails and passes many lakes while crossing the Flat Tops Plateau until reaching the Wall Lake Trail above Trappers Lake.
Pagoda Trail Blanco Ranger District,
White River National Forest
Pagoda Trail begins west of Ripple Creek Pass. It offers motorcycle/ATV access to Snell Creek, Pagoda Lake and Pagoda Peak. It can be followed to Forest Road 230 or linked to the Snell Creek trail.
Pagoda-Snell Creek Loop Trail Blanco Ranger District,

This motorized trail loop links County/Forest Road 8 (near Ripple Creek Pass), the Pagoda Peak Trail and the Snell Creek Trail.
Papoose Trail Blanco Ranger District,
White River National Forest
Papoose Creek Trail leads up Papoose Creek past several short waterfalls, to Papoose Basin. It then climbs onto the Flat Tops Plateau where it intersects the Oyster Lake Trail.

This trail north of Steamboat Springs, in the Mt Zirkel area, leads from the Gold Creek Lake Trail #1150, to Red Dirt Pass. A hiker can reach the top of Mt Zirkel from this trail.

The Spring Creek Trail begins on the northeast edge of Steamboat Springs. It leads up to the Buffalo Pass Road at Dry Lake Campground. It is close to town, and popular for hiking, running, and mountain biking.

Swamp Park Trail leads from Mad Creek, several miles north of Steamboat Springs, north to the upper Elk River near Seedhouse Campground. It can be enjoyed for both summer and winter activities.

This scenic trail travels up Sweetwater and Dry Sweetwater Creeks in the Flat Tops area north of Dotsero. It accesses the east side of the Flat Tops Wilderness.

The Teepee Creek Trail is located in the Lynx Pass area, southeast of Yampa.
Three Island Lake Trail Hahns Peak/Bears Ears Ranger District,
Medicine Bow and Routt National Forests
This area was affected by a large tree blowdown. Contact the Hahns Peak/Bears Ears Ranger District for current conditions. This trail north of Steamboat Springs leads from Forest Road 443, near Seedhouse Campground, up past Three Island Lake, and eventually to the Wyoming Trail #1101, at the Continental Divide.
Transfer Trail Yampa Ranger District,
Medicine Bow and Routt National Forests
This trail is located in the Flat Tops near Pyramid, west of Yampa. It provides a short-cut access to the East Fork Trail #1119.
Trappers Lake Trail Blanco Ranger District,
White River National Forest
This trail leads from south of Trappers Lake, up Fraser Creek and up onto the Flat Tops Plateau. It continues across the Flat Tops Wilderness to Indian Camp Pass, north of Deep Lake.
Turret Creek Trail Eagle Ranger District,
White River National Forest
Beginning in the Sweetwater Lake area, this trail provides good access to the Flat Tops Wilderness, and is popular for foot or horseback travel.
Ute Creek Trail Blanco Ranger District,
White River National Forest
The trail leads up Ute Creek and eventually onto the Flat Tops Plateau. It intersects the Oyster Lake Trail just past Oyster Lake.
Ute Trail Yampa Ranger District,
Medicine Bow and Routt National Forests
The Ute Trail runs from the Bear River, southwest of Yampa, north to Heart Lake. It is open to ATV use in addition to foot and horseback travel.
West Fish Creek Trail Yampa Ranger District,
Medicine Bow and Routt National Forests
The West Fish Creek Trail is located north of Dunckley Pass, northwest of Yampa. Portions of this trail are open for ATV travel.
West Lost Lakes Trail Yampa Ranger District,
Medicine Bow and Routt National Forests
The West Lost Lakes Trail is located in the Flat Tops west of Yampa. It leads from the Lost Lakes Trail, west into the White River National Forest.
Wyoming Trail Hahns Peak/Bears Ears Ranger District,

This 50 mile trail generally follows the Continental Divide from roughly Rabbit Ears Pass, north into Wyoming. It can be traveled in sections, because it can be accessed from a number of different points.
