Activity	Location	Description

Four Mile General Forest Area	Sopris Ranger District, White River National Forest	The Four-mile general forest area provides access to recreation opportunities such as four-wheel driving, hiking, mountain biking, motorcycle riding, and snowmobiling. It is located southwest of Glennwood Springs and west of Carbondale.

Gardner Park Recreation Area	Yampa Ranger District, Medicine Bow and Routt National Forests	Gardner Park Reservoir Recreation Area offers dispersed camping, fishing, a handicapped accessible interpretive trail, hiking and mountain biking. It is located in the Bear River area southwest of Yampa, at an elevation of 10,200 feet.

Glenwood Canyon General Forest Area	Eagle Ranger District, White River National Forest	The Glenwood Canyon General Forest Area, east of Glenwood Springs, is dominated by the spectacular Glenwood Canyon and its numerous arms.

Gore Creek General Forest Area	Holy Cross Ranger District, White River National Forest	The Gore Creek General Forest Area includes the entire Gore Creek drainage, which runs from Dowd's Junction to Vail Pass and the Gore Range.

Gypsum Creek General Forest Area	Eagle Ranger District, White River National Forest	The Gypsum Creek General Forest Area takes in the Gypsum Creek drainage south of the town of Gypsum. It includes the general area between Red Table and Hardscrabble mountains.

Hay Flats General Forest Area	Blanco Ranger District, White River National Forest	The Hay Flats area offers access to four-wheel drive roads and hunting. It is located in the southeast portion of the Blanco Ranger District, south of Meeker.

Holy Cross Wilderness - Eagle Ranger District Wilderness Area	Eagle Ranger District, White River National Forest	The Eagle Ranger District portion of the Holy Cross Wilderness lies to the southeast of Eagle. The different trails are accessed from either East Brush Creek or Lake Creek.

Holy Cross Wilderness Trails - Holy Cross District	Holy Cross Ranger District, White River National Forest	The Holy Cross Ranger District portion of the Holy Cross Wilderness lies to the southwest of Vail and Minturn. The different trails are accessed from either US Hwy. 24, Tigiwon Road, or Homestake Road.

Holy Cross Wilderness-Sopris Ranger District Wilderness Area	Sopris Ranger District, White River National Forest	The Sopris Ranger District portion of the Holy Cross Wilderness lies to the east of Basalt. The different trails are accessed from various points in the Frying Pan drainage, above Reudi Reservoir.

Hubbard Cave General Forest Area	Sopris Ranger District, White River National Forest	Hubbard's Cave General Forest Area includes Hubbard's Cave and road. The cave, a moderately used geologic formation, is the main attraction in this area

Lagunita Lake Recreation Area	Yampa Ranger District, Medicine Bow and Routt National Forests	Lagunita Lake is a small lake near Lynx Pass and Lynx Pass Campground, southeast of Yampa.

Lincoln Creek General Forest Area	Aspen Ranger District, White River National Forest	Lincoln Creek Gulch General Forest Area is located east of Aspen on Highway 82 or Independence Pass Road. The General Forest Area provides access to a variety of outdoor recreation opportunities.

Long Park/Lost Creek General Forest Area	Blanco Ranger District, White River National Forest	The Long Park/Lost Creek area offers access to four-wheel drive roads, hiking trails and hunting. It is located in the northern portion of the Blanco Ranger District, northeast of Buford.

Lower Fryingpan General Forest Area	Sopris Ranger District, White River National Forest	The Lower Fryingpan General Forest Area consists of the region west of Ruedi Reservoir. It provides access to numerous recreation opportunities both on land and water.

Marble General Forest Area	Sopris Ranger District, White River National Forest	This General Forest Area surrounds the town of Marble located on road #314 off Highway 133 south of Carbondale. A variety of recreation opportunities are accessible from this location including hiking, biking, motorcycle riding, horseback riding and fishing.

Marvine Lakes General Forest Area	Blanco Ranger District, White River National Forest	The Marvine Lakes general forest area offers access to a number of lakes and trails in the central part of the Flat Tops Wilderness Area of White River National Forest.

Miller Creek General Forest Area	Blanco Ranger District, White River National Forest	The Miller Creek area offers access to four-wheel drive roads, several trails and hunting. It is located in the southern portion of the Blanco Ranger District, southeast of Meeker.

North Rampart Range General Forest Area	South Platte Ranger District, Pike and San Isabel National Forests	The North Rampart Range General Forest Area is located south of Sedalia on the Rampart Range Road. The recreation opportunities center around the motorcycle and off-road vehicle use.

Piney River/Sheephorn Creek General Forest Area	Holy Cross Ranger District, White River National Forest	This area includes the Piney River and Sheephorn Creek drainages, north of Vail.

Ptarmigan Peak Wilderness	Dillon Ranger District, White River National Forest	The Ptarmigan Peak Wilderness lies in the Williams Fork Mountains, north of Silverthorne.

Rampart Range Motorized Trail System Recreation Area	South Platte Ranger District, Pike and San Isabel National Forests	The Rampart Range Motorized Trail System provides 115 miles of trails for all ability levels. These trail see high use throughout the year so low-impact techniques are important and should be practiced by all users.

Red Dirt Reservoir Recreation Area	Yampa Ranger District, Medicine Bow and Routt National Forests	Red Dirt Reservoir Recreation Area offers dispersed camping, fishing, hiking and mountain biking. It is located east of Yampa in the Gore Pass area, at an elevation of 8,400 feet.

Redstone General Forest Area	Sopris Ranger District, White River National Forest	Redstone General Forest Area is located on Highway 133 north of McClure Pass. A variety of trails, roads, rivers and mountains comprise this region.

Sleepy Cat General Forest Area	Blanco Ranger District, White River National Forest	The Sleepy Cat area offers access to a number of four-wheel drive roads, trails, and hunting. It is located in the northwest portion of the Blanco Ranger District, northeast of Meeker.

Snake River General Forest Area	Dillon Ranger District, White River National Forest	The Snake River General Forest Area is southeast of Silverthorne and includes the area around Keystone and Arapaho Basin.

South Fork General Forest Area	Blanco Ranger District, White River National Forest	The South Fork General Forest area offers accessibility to a wide variety of trails, lakes, campgrounds, fishing, hunting and other outdoor activities within the Blanco Ranger District of the White River National Forest.

South Platte River General Forest Area	South Platte Ranger District, Pike and San Isabel National Forests	The South Platte General Forest Area is located north and south of the small towns of Deckers and Trumbull on Highways 126, 67 and 97. It's a popular region for anglers that contains 5 campgrounds and 3 picnic grounds.

Sweetwater General Forest Area	Eagle Ranger District, White River National Forest	The Sweetwater General Forest Area includes the Sweetwater Creek drainage, northwest of Eagle and Gypsum. It takes in the southeast end of the Flat Tops Wilderness.

Tenmile Creek General Forest Area	Dillon Ranger District, White River National Forest	The Tenmile Creek General Forest Area includes Tenmile Canyon, the east side of Vail Pass, the south end of the Eagle's Nest Wilderness, and the Copper Mountain area.

The Flat Tops Area	Eagle Ranger District, White River National Forest	The area discussed here consists of the south end of the Flat Tops, accessed by the Coffee Pot Road, which provides a vast area for multiple outdoor recreation activities.

Trappers Lake General Forest Area	Blanco Ranger District, White River National Forest	Trappers General Forest area offers accessibility to a wide variety of trails, lakes, campgrounds, fishing, hunting and other outdoor activities within the Flat Tops Wilderness of the White River National Forest. This area is very popular in the summer.

Trout Creek Recreation Area	Yampa Ranger District, Medicine Bow and Routt National Forests	The Trout Creek Recreation Area is located along Trout Creek, northwest of Yampa. It offers fishing and dispersed campsites.

Upper Eagle River General Forest Area	Holy Cross Ranger District, White River National Forest	The Upper Eagle River General Forest Area includes most of the area from Minturn, south to Tennessee Pass.
